Ms. Moccia concentrates her practice in estate planning, from simple wills and powers of attorney to advanced tax planning involving revocable and irrevocable trusts and other sophisticated planning techniques. She is also an elder law attorney, providing counsel to seniors and their families on matters ranging from Medicaid eligibility to guardianship and conservatorships.
Ms. Moccia holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Estate Planning from the University of Miami. While attending Miami, she served on the Ethics Committee of the Elder Law Project. She also annually attends the Heckerling Institute, the nation's premier estate and gift tax program.
Ms. Moccia contributes her time and talent to her community, having served as a restoration project coordinator for the Norfolk Environmental Commission, a fund-raising organizer and volunteer for St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, and a conflict resolution seminar trainer for The Dwelling Place and FORkids Shelter. She also volunteers as a Young Lawyer Ambassador for the American Bar Association.
