James Madison University:
In 2008, Kevin was invited to be a member of the James Madison University President's Council. This distinguished group
consists of individuals recognized for their support of James Madison University's mission to prepare students to lead
productive and meaningful lives.
Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters:
Mr. Rack serves on the CHKD Development Advisory Board for Children's Health Foundation, Inc. in Norfolk, Virginia.
Champions for Hope:
The Alzheimer's Association's Southeastern Virginia Chapter held a celebration at Granby Theater in Norfolk on August 7th
to recognize those identified as "Champions for Hope" in recognition of their contributions to the mission of the Chapter
in Hampton Roads. Among those celebrated were Mayor Oberndorf, Sandra Parker and Kathryn Barrett of WVEC News, and NFL
alumni Bruce Smith. Our own Kevin Rack was honored for his work in elder law, as well as his leadership roles on the
Chapter Board of Directors, the Planned Gift Advisory Council and the "Rack Pack," the Firm's Memory Walk team.
National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, Inc. (NAELA):
Congratulations to Kevin on being awarded the Accredited Estate Planner (AEP) designation by the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils, based upon nomination by his peers as a respected and distinguished member of the Hampton Roads Estate Planning Council. The Accredited Estate Planner accredition is a graduate-level specialization in estate planning recognizing Mr. Rack as a knowledgeable, experienced and ethical professional in the field of estate planning.

On November 6, 2008, Kevin B. Rack, was the speaker on "The Smart Investor" on WPMH radio, hosted by Mark DeSalvo & James Coburn, of Ferris, Baker & Watts. The topic was "Top Ten Reasons to Plan Your Estate Now." On July 22, 2008, Kevin was the speaker on "The Smart Investor" and the topic was Elder Law.
