This presentation focuses on the "Top-10" things you need to know about aging, and about your aging parents. The program content is relevant to both the elderly generation and their adult "baby boomer" children. Subjects covered during the presentation will include the importance of estate planning documents, home safety, Medicare and Medicaid, Veteran's benefits, in-home help, long-term care options, how to pay for care, managing medications, and more.
We will also explore emerging technologies available to seniors, their families and caregivers. The presenetation will arm attendees with practical web-based resources to facilitate accurate communication and action with their senior family members and the organizations which care for them.
